Finally talked to Josh. Got my cross member for the T-case skid ordered late Monday night.

There's a difference in the T-case skids depending on WHEN you purchased them. I was told if my T-case skid was FLAT (no bends in it) I can order the new cross member alone.

However, there's a T-case skid that has some bends in it that doesn't work with the new cross member. Assuming I understood Josh correctly.

That being said - their website still shows images of the T-case skid with bends in it.

 

I got a tcase skid with a flat plate. It came in late march early april. I can post a pic later if you interested.
I believe the tcase skid with bends in it are for the exhaust crossover. if you re-route your exhaust you will get the new one with a flat plate

I ordered August with factory exhaust. But they sent me the flat plate and shims. So Josh said with the new crossmember all I have to do is not use the shim bar.

If I had the bent skid I'd have to order the new skid too.

 

Sliders should be delivered today! Got the stuff to prep and paint them yesterday and will be starting that tomorrow after I get off work!

Sliders got delivered yesterday. Had to compare them to the wimpy stock steps.

They already have 2 good coats of primer on them and will finishing up the painting today and installing them tomorrow!

 

Installed this morning. Took 1.5 hours by myself.

 

Got the front and A-arm skids installed. They are exceptionally well made! With time and more $$ I will be getting the rest of the skids.

Oh it's 3rd gen duh...

 

Got them installed yesterday morning. They look very nice and are very sturdy! I do plan on doing the optional drilling on the bottom of them to add the two extra bolts to them, but they are still rock solid without them. Just want the extra strength for using them as a Hi-Lift jack point.

 

You going to paint that or anything?

 

I thought about painting them quicksand, or something wild like red or orange, or flat black but then I got impatient and wanted them installed ASAP so I thought I'd see how they do unpainted for a while.

 

You'll be doing this in a couple of months!

Very true! I had mine powder coated white to match the truck.

Two SNOW wheeling trips later... I had to scrape rust and chipping powder coat off so I could spray paint them.
