Buy your own from ECGS and they’ll throw it in.

Probably not but you can do it yourself or ask them too.

I use what ECGS recommends. Change after 500 miles, rear diff only. How much, I don’t know the exact...but when it starts overflowing just stop. Change front whenever you get a couple hundred miles on with 4x4 on. Take it easy first time offroad.

Question, if we bought an e-locker, are we expected to do the wiring ourself or will that come at an extra cost?

Probably obvious, but the install won’t affect the ECGS clamshell bushing if you already have it installed, right? Thanks.

The install for the locker itself is free, they use to have someone that would do the wiring but he’s MIA. So as far as wiring... DIY

I do not believe it includes that portion. I meant free locker install as they install it into the diff. The wiring is all up to you.

Wonder if the E-Locker can be ran through an S-Pod? Unless if you wanted the actual switch button.

EDIT: Just read on the JEEP Forums that guys run the E-Locker straight to the S-pod and works like a charm.

Yes you can run the elocker through either a spod or switchpro. Both contain 35A circuits.

Guys, I'm trying to work a deal in here that might be beneficial for someone (and me). I've got a 2018 RWD auto 3.5 OR with Elocker (3.90). I really only want 4.30s from an OR MT (with Elocker). What I'm trying to do is sync up with one of you at this shop on your swap day, and swap your 4.30 third member directly into my truck. You get my 3.90 rear setup for your gear swap and who cares since it's being regeared anyways? I'll pay the shop the labor for the third member swap and I'll throw a cnote your way to help me out. If you're interested please pm me so w can coordinate with the shop.

Maybe just my opinion, but it’s kind of silly to install the locker and not wire it up at the time of install. Do we know for a fact that they won’t do it?

I’m sure the person you gave your deposit to (Miguel) can answer your question.

Miguel told me that they no longer do the wiring when I asked and just the install itself sans wiring

No, they won’t do it. They aren’t making enough to do a full locker install with wiring. Call other shops who will and get a quote, see how much more expensive it is.

My $0.02 is if you’re adding a locker, you should be pretty hands-on with your truck installs and be able to do an hour or two of wiring yourself. It’s not very hard. Or take it to another shop and pay $2-300 for them to do it.

Or.. take the advice from @whatstcp . The money you saved on the install use towards a Switchpro.:notsure: Simplify everything! I am able to get some pretty good pricing. I might know a guy who does the work. (Not thread jacking this awesome group buy deal)
