Personally I just bought the ECGS needle bearing. I let them use the master kit for the install with all Nitro parts since they'll warranty that. :notsure:

Do you ship and does it come with everything needed to regear to 4.88 on a 3rd gen without needing to come in?

Was going to bring new Toyota OEM front and rear pinion seals to put in with my re-gear only because i'm paranoid about leaks.

I’m sure I could find those PNs in a thread, but does anyone happen to have the PNs for those front and rear pinion seals?

Sounds like we picked a good shop, thanks for the feedback op.

Already ordered 7 qts of Lucas 85w-140 as I will burn in the miles on the rear diff pretty quick.

Is anybody here OVtuned? If so, are you guys going to run current tune or flash back to stock tune after re-gearing? I ask because it sounds like the driveability is good with stock tune and 5.29s.

Try it with the tune before. It may be even better!

I am tuned. My ecu is on 0A461 running an older 2.0 beta tune 16012, which has worked better than any other beta releases on my 2018. I was going to keep running that through the regear to 5.29’s and see how it runs and was planning to wait for the 2.0/5.29 final tune to drop to try a different tune. If the current tune sucks after the regear, I’ll prob try others but not that worried about it. As far as I understand, it shouldn’t cause any issues but the shift points may be a little off.

Amazon $8/ qt. Not sure if that's a deal, but that sounded pretty reasonable to me.
