So they torqued them too tight and they were tough to unscrew? Want to be clear about what you’re saying.

Too tight. They just use impacts for most of their work minus the diff assembly.

    .

Do they read this forum? Over tighten key bolts. And under fill differentials. Hmmmm - maybe OP who brought them a zillion bucks could subtly mention this in a nice/PC way after saying we appreciate the work and price.

Re-Gear done 5.29 . For you guys that have done your re-gear do you guys hear a small whine on deceleration going under 40mph? It shifts fine just wondering if anyone has has the same noise. Its still not fully broken in yet still have a couple hundred miles to go. I read that's its pretty common on the re gear mega thread but just for a couple post then they switched the subject.

Asking them to torque down every bolt to spec is pretty unnecessary to be honest. No shop that I’ve seen does it. Bolts aint going anywhere with an impact hit. Plus it’d add a lot of time to their workflow...I know it does mine when I stop and set my torque wrench, etc.

The only bolts I care about being torqued right are the lug nuts. I was still able to break my drain plug open with a small 1/2” drive.

@SoCalTacoTruck. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't the only getting that noise. Thanks !

Got mine done this morning with @geoffstaco . Was in and out in an hour and half!

After reading some comments hear I will definitely be torquing everything myself.

    Everyone there is very friendly.

I got the regear last week and now I'm having an issue with the rear feeling locked up. Tires start skipping while doing u-turns and bind up. Oem rear e-locker so I was able to get it to engage and disengage. Also found rear diff fluid low after changing it.

Yeah I'm gonna give them a call tomorrow. It sucks because after the regear my rear diff gasket was leaking so this will be the second time taking it back.
