Has anyone towed yet after their break in. Miguel said I’m not allowed to tow until I break in 1000 miles.

also today I went to change my rear diff oil and I was out of luck because my drain plug was cross threaded. I called up Miguel and they aren’t able to look at my truck to remove the drain plug until Wednesday. I didn’t want to go to another shop to help me remove it because I felt it was Pwg responsibility to right what they wrong. Kind of a shitty situation. Just sucks we spend that much and still have to check for mistakes ourselves. Respectfully just my personal experience and opinion.

You always have to verify work done, no matter what you pay or where its done.

Yes I understand, you live and you learn. Also just wanted others to be aware on another thing to check.

I guess you’re suppose to follow them with a torque bar and check list.

It is a good point to always check but if these guys miss something as simple as a plug. It makes you second guess if everything inside the differential was installed and torqued correctly. Can't really check that it's not see through

It is against forum policy to post such beautiful pictures and not state where it is.

Question about front break in. So after I'm done with rear break in and oil replaced, I need to travel 500 miles on 4h to break in the front?

    Yes, 4H or 4L,

Or better way may be both front and rear together as much as possible off road. Remember, when you are in 4wd off road, both are breaking in.

Yesterday I went out for a day run.. tried out the front locker on a offshoot. Very nice! But don’t plan to make it habit of using unless needed

If I were you you I would call in. It was a mess with deposits not matching usernames here. Tell them what happened.

I'm still waiting too although Miguel reached out to me last week. I already have a set of gears that they'll be installing but I'm buying a locker from them and they're checking to see if the Harrop will work with the thin cut Nitro 4.88's I have. I'm expecting to have an appt made soon.

Thanks OP. Just had my 4.88s in today, on a Tuesday; Just me and the employees.

Took about 1 1/2 hours from parking to departure. Went through 20x3 mile intervals to home with cool down periods in between.

Stoked for my 300 mile road trip to Kings Canyon/Sequoia on Friday.
