I’m on 285’s now. My truck has some added weight but 5.29’s feel great. Will be jumping up in tire size soon as well

I could not find this answer in the thread, sorry if I missed it, but just want to confirm.

Is the front diff broken in the same way as the rear diff? 3 15 mile cycles with a cooling period in between, then change fluid after 500 miles of easy off-roading? Also, is it better to wait to start breaking in the front diff until you have broken in the rear diff and changed the rear diff fluid? Or is it ok to "kill two birds with one stone" and do some light off-roading to put miles on both diffs at the same time?

I just rescheduled my appointment that was for this Friday to do 5.29s. I changed my mind and decided to go with 4.88 which Miguel won’t have in time so if anyone wants to try to snag my spot Miguel might be able to accommodate

Glad to know I wasn't the only person who couldn't make up my mind. Kind of wish I would have gone 5.29 though if that helps, haha

I have 5.29s and kinda wish I went 4.88. I'm apparently the first person on TW to feel this way. Lol

Got my gears done Friday and they feel great. After the appt I checked for leaks and wiped away excess fluid from the install. About halfway through with the break-in on the rear and I’ve noticed some seeping at the front passenger side axle and the rear diff. For anyone who knows more about this, does this seem normal for the first few days, or should I take my truck back in?

Yes, in the waiting room, it’s pretty small if social distancing is a concern

Looks like it could be an axel leak. Talk to Miguel. He’ll probably have you come back.

@EnriqueG_s550 I still need to run my air lines. Do you have any pictures on how you ran them? Did you have to buy a 90degree adapter to keep from hitting the sensor?

Thanks mang. The kit comes with this adapter that I used i don't have pics of the air line itself but I have this pic of the adapter I used that came in the kit... i did have to remove the sensor to access the air port on the diff. This is a screenshot from dirt nation offroads video. I did it the same way. Screenshot_20200710-095103_YouTube.jpg

There’s a video!? Damn I just ran the two airlines this past Saturday. Not too difficult, just figured it Out as I went along, and yeah it comes with a banjo bolt for 90 degree install. I didn’t remove the sensor.
