@Synergy001 - whats the difference between the 885 coils and the 886 coils that causes the need for aftermarket UCAs with the 886s? Are the 886s slightly longer?

My buddy has the full OME heavy kit with the 886's on his 2012 DCSB, and he did not have to change the UCA's.

So no matter what I'm going with the heavy kit I asked for. My concern is with the 886's and my front bumper/winch combo will I still get the full 3"? I like my truck as level as possible and just worry I'm going to get 3" out back and 2" up front with the added weight. I know the 886 is slightly taller than 885 with stiffer spring rate. Any help? Do I need additional parts to get the full 3"?

I think it's going to be a trial and error for you at this point. The 886's should make it pretty level, but you could always add a half inch spacer later if it's not quite level.

Can you add a top plate spacer without disassembling the strut? I didn't think that the factory length studs on the top plate had enough length to fit a spacer? Sorry to hijack the thread, I've searched everywhere and the answers about this lift setup vary a lot. I'm not opposed to the extra work, I just don't have coil compressors that can handle the 886's.

Yes, you can add the top plate spacer without taking apart the strut. If you do a 1/2" spacer you will need longer studs. Most kits come with them.

Sorry I was talking about a shackle flip like in this video but they also have the U-Bolt flip done.

What U-Bolt flip kit did you use? Maybe I will do that too.
