***CLOSED*** TacomaWorld Secret Santa 2017!!!

Purchased a few small odds n' ends, started fabrication on another, have a few other things to pick up locally. ...and maybe order something else on the interwebs. We'll see how generous I'm feeling. Chances are my generosities will increase in the month of December.

Will probably wait a couple more weeks to ship out everything. Should make it to VA in time... (oops, was that a hint?!)

 

Ordered from Amazon for my person last week and it still says ordered, but not shipped, but then says it should arrive in the next couple days... Come on Amazon, you're killin' me.

 

If anyone sent me abything, sorry I haven't been home in 9 days and won't be back until Wednesday. Come 12/22 I'm out for the rest of the year. If you are going to send mid December, let one of the administrators know and I can send my 12/22 address out.

Two questions.

First, Any specific date that we should send gifts out by? I am thinking of doing mine a little closer to Christmas time so it arrives closer to then instead of a whole month before.
Secondly, what about backup people? I am pretty sure I volunteered to be a backup incase someones gifter does not actually gift.

 

As long as it’s there by Christmas. Keep in mind it gets busier as it gets closer. As far as backups, we may not contact you until after the new year if we are provided shipping info or proof of purchase to track for the stragglers.

Also lots of people travel for the holiday through the new year. So getting the gift there early probably isn't a bad idea so it doesn't sit at a front door and walk away.

 

Still waiting on part 2 of gift and then someone living in the western mountains will have their gift.

 

Don’t forget that we are relying on the lowest bidder for us APO deliveries. It could be delivered and sitting in the back of the mailroom for weeks until the sort it. Yesterday during the day (mail room is inside our hospital) they made an overhead announcement “mail room is full, no new mail delivered until packages are picked up”.
