    Nothing goes under the lamp.
Outer ring to secure the projector into the housing, then the lamp, then washer/silicone, then the "cap" ring retains the lamp and locks the outer ring.

Any idea why no one at TRS is returning my emails. I've sent 3 already. All within the past two weeks. I can't really call during the day as I'm at work.

I guess they have been swamped with new product releases recall issues and renovating their facilities...

Probably because they get hundreds of emails a day, you should've received an email stating that during this week they are busy trying to back fill orders for ballasts and that a response may take an additional 2-3 days. At least thats what I got when I emailed them yesterday

No email. Not even a confirmation that I sent it. Is there another way to email them aside from going to their "contact us" page?

I'll probably try and make time tomorrow. I'm West Coast though, aren't they 3 hours ahead? Earliest I'd get off is 2. I'll call right after work. Thanks guys.

So I got my DSP ballasts in today. Thankfully they both fire up 1st try every time I turn my lights on. I think I read it before in this thread, but I also have some crazy flickering going on at start up, that's okay right? It stops after about 5 seconds then it's solid.

I have the same flickering you do at start up.

Kinda shitty to pay so much and have them flicker, but what can I do haha oh well. At least they turn on!

Ya I mean I'm glad that they are solving issues for everyone. And I agree to pay so much but have flickering

That seems like a pretty good deal for the amount of work involved. Mine included no parts.

What I did was tighten the lock ring for the projector, allowing it to move the horizontal. Put the bulb back in and tighten the lock ring on the bulb as finger tight as you can get it. Connect the ballast. Leave the rubber dust/moisture cover off. Fire it up and reach in with your fingers. I was able to use the bulb lock ring to SLOWLY rotate the projector. The key is to do it slowly, so that you don't unscrew it. Usually I am able to get the horizontal back using this method.

If your projector won't move that way, then I've also used this method. Most likely, you need to rotate the projector counterclockwise when looking from inside the truck, because you twisted it clockwise when tightening everything. So, pull the bulb back out, and use a pair of pliers to grab the end of the projector threads, being careful to not damage them. Rotate the projector CCW a little, put bulb back in (don't screw it down too tight), connect ballast, and check alignment. Keep doing that until it's right. Then tighten the bulb, being careful not to twist the projector.

Lol, I'll take 5 seconds of almost no noticeable flicker, versus the candles I had constantly with the SS ballasts!

Seriously, I was embarrassed to come to a stop at a light with the dancing going on.
