    The wire idea works best , i did it on mine and they dont move let alone you dont notice unless upclose; and simple splice into your parking lights.

    Well the only reason I don't like the idea is because I don't want to mess up the shroud. I can try it I guess. And don't the xbs hook up to another wire since it has the connectors on it? And where do I put the giant fuses that are on the wires?

    Just drill really small holes in the shrouds before you paint them, and yes the xbs plug into what you're referring to as a giant fuse, then wire the wires after the fuse into wherever you want

    Yes, it's perfectly fine, as you must bake the housing to close it back up. Keep in mind it only gets to maybe 180-190F in the oven for a few minutes. It gets about that hot in direct sunlight on a summer day.

    No they'll work just fine. In fact, it's an option in the kit for the Mini D2S as well. :)
