My money is on that small (gold or black) control box... I think is listed as a computer on TRS website. I had a similar problem and it was a sticky relay in there. New box fixed the problem.

A forum unfortunately won't be any quicker than emails--in fact it would be slower. For immediate service in the future, I recommend giving the Customer Service dept a call or using live chat on our website.

With that said, if there's no corrosion, and the lights are reluctant to turn on, it sounds like a new MotoControl box for the harness is what needs to be sent out--you don't need to send anything to us.

At your convenience, if you could shoot us a message on Live Chat or email me your order number, we'll get a replacement out ASAP for you.

    My email is andrew@theretrofitsource.com.

Sorry for the troubles in the first place!

Andrew @TRSAndrew if you order the Panamera LED shroud with the stage 3 kit roccemended on 1st post, you don't need Halo rings, the LED in the shroud takes place of them correct? Also, is the LED ring/circuit board removable in order to be able to paint the shroud?

Sorry for the delay in replying to you guys helping troubleshoot. I was in Dallas for the past week. Anyway.....

    It's both sides.

    Tried that....No luck

Hope this is it. I wound up having to purchase a new one through TRS. Apparently when I bought the kit during the first group buy back in 2011, the warranty was only good for 2 years on parts/accessories (not 5 like it is now) on their kits. Got me...but they discounted the harness a few bux.
I'll be swapping out the new control box tonight after work, so I'll keep everyone posted.

Oh, I also picked up a pair of the Ferrite Rings to try and knock down the radio interference. The description says output cord of the harness or input cord of the hid bulb...Anyone figure out if one spot works better than another?

Andrew @TRSAndrew another quick question, as I am still deciding on shrouds, tuff decision, if I go with the Apollo 3.0, what size halo ring would I get to fit behind it?

Those two Apollo's are the ones I am torn between.

The ring size is listed on the product page for Outer and inner rings. I just got the Apollo 3.0 with my D2S kit

Speaking of halos, has anyone ever mounted a backlight for the M45 shroud?

Thanks for the group buy. Just order on Thursday and already received it today, man was that fast. Hopefully in the next few weeks I'll get some time to work on it.
