Just wanted to give a shout out to TRS... Recently, I had a morimoto slim 5Five ballast start acting up after a few years of use. TRS checked on my order date, confirmed I could be covered under warranty, and they are shipping out a replacement. You won't get that kind of treatment from any other vendors on ebay/Amazon/insert website here. They're a super easy company to deal with, and I recommend them for their quality products and great customer support. Thanks dudes!

I want my xsb halos to illuminate amber always. This is acheived by just splicing the two hot wires together to 12v?

Edit: Nevermind, found the answer. Just tap the yellow wire only, not the white.

Do you have any pictures of how the backside of the lights look, where the wires come out of the boot?

I do not. You can just make a tiny little cut and pass the wire through. If you're worried, a dab of silicon around that area and you're golden

Okay, thanks. I also have a set of those boots from TRS to cover all of that too. I guess I just cut a small hole in that too. I'm going to finish up test fitting and painting tonight and finish it up on Saturday to let the paint dry.

Yeah, let the paint dry real good. You don't want to trap the fumes and have it go bad later.

Hey, those little anti moisture bags, just sit them behind the reflector bowl when I warm them up in the oven to seal them up?

Hardest part for me was getting the projector to stay level inside the housing. Connecting the igniters cause it to tilt inside. I still need to take it all apart again and fix it

The hardest part for me was keeping the inside of the housing and painted parts dust free and clean the whole time.
