Ok well let me say this then ...... I put some jb weld on them, in numerous spots around the halo, and one has come off. I welded them last Thursday then finally installed the headlights yesterday. Drove my truck around the block to check on a few other things I been working on and noticed one of the rings had fallen. Sooooooooo what could I have done wrong? Kinda hard to mess up mixing the jb weld then putting it on. I used the yellow/black tubes with a strength of 2200ish lbs as opposed to the stronger stuff but I didn't think it needed much strength to hold it.

Does the oven cleaner just dissolve the chrome? I got some paint thinner to remove the paint. How long did u let it sit on there

I used Steel Stik putty and the regular JB Weld epoxy around that.

That is odd. I've used jb weld a dozen times and it never fails. Another method would be using bead wires or a thin gauge wire

    Yeap!

This is what it looks like after 10 mins. Wash it and dry it after you're done. You may have to do it once or twice

D2S. Kelvin wise, that's up to you. I recommend anywhere from 4500k-6500k

4500k is the brightest (lumen wise) you can get
5000k is the whitest, color wise
6500k has a tint of blue in it

I didn't see a spot of oven cleaner on my arm, back in the day, and it burnt a dime size hole through my skin.

You can get it at walmart. Yeah, spray it all over, wait for about 5-10 mins and rinse off. You may have to spray it again in areas that are hard to reach. You can do it to your shrouds, bowls, and bezels
