So you only painted the main bowl and the bezel? Did you smoke any of the lenses? Just curious because of Hawaii safety check. I want them to look good but not too flashy that they fail safety.

I'm not 100% sure mine will pass safety so I have my stock set to swap in if it doesn't. I am going to try though.

on the 2010 tacoma headlights how much did you shave off the back side? I shaved mine down just barely so the Y washer would fit but i have like no threads out the back side.

We have different style housings, but I didn't use that bumpy ring. I followed the "how to" from the other thread exactly.

I didn't use the washer/ring with the 3 legs. Just the big hex nut that I jb welded on after I set the cutoff. Then the bulb retainer nut with the spring (if you have the D2S kit too).

That's just another lock ring for your projectors. The hex ring works better.

Pretty much what deeezy said. You'll need to sand it down futher; enough so your bulb retainer can thread on. I would just go ahead and shave all the flange off.

The H4 adaptor (ring with 3 prongs) is not required since you shaved the flange off. Besides, Toyota mount their h4 slots slightly off to the right for some reason so the adaptor wouldn't work anyways
