That's good! Only left/right and up/down adjustments afterward. At least your rotation will be good!

Make sure you put a dab of jb weld to lock to projector to the bowl. I can't remember if I did, but my cutoff hasn't moved yet. I know for sure I jb welded the nut to the projector to make sure it doesn't back off.

What are peoples opinions on 50w over 35w. Ive heard 50w is 25% brighter but the bulb life is 25% shorter. On average how long does each bulb last? Thanks.

Ive seen 50w melt housings in other vehicles, I have aways ran 35w and will probably continue to run 35w just cause my old bulbs were 4 years old and were still fine. Not saying 50w is a bad choice but I doubt they're that much brighter honestly

Well.... After a couple nights of heavy research and review, pretty sure this is my summer project along with a slight lift.

Anyone have any absolute recommendations, words of wisdom or warning? Pretty sure I can swing this mod. Might make a long weekend out of it. Not in the budget to buy all new headlight housings.

Thinking total blackout, either H1 minis or D2S kit, Apollo 3 shroud with internal halo and external halo and demon eyes. Go big or go home I guess- right?

Anyone know if I can keep the halos on Amber with my running lights and then have them switch to white with headlights?

I'm thinking red demon eyes with the Amber would be sweet. Just not sure if the wiring is possible.

Hopefully I can do this all come June or July. Same time as the lift...

Take your sweet time. It would be great to have a second set of headlights while you work on yours. But it can be done through out the weekend.

You're going to have a lot of wiring! Haha but it's do able.

I would just leave it amber. Once your headlights are on, you can sorta see your halos. But if you really wanted, you can do it how you wanted.

You can do red demon eyes with switchback halos.

Yeah, wiring might be tough- shame there's not much room under the hood by the headlights. Is there any specific videos or instructions just in the wiring? I am familiar with electrical but have a few questions.

If I just want Amber, I just reverse the wiring on the halos, corrects? Make the switchback/ turning wiring the primary?

I wonder- should I just connect directly to dash via a switch or two. It would simplify wiring for sure. I'd like to be able to switch from white halos to Amber halos at will, if possible. I imagine if going the dash route I would also do a separate switch for the demon eyes as well. I'd like to wire into the or existing, but people seem to have trouble with it from what I am reading.

Got these in the closeouts due to minor "scuffs". More like a tiny scratch, about the thickness of a hair.
    :woot:

    Talk about the width!

There was a guy with square d2s with amber halos. Let me see if I can find him or pictures

I just saw that they are going to try and sell the ones for 05-11. Its in the group buy section. Not sure if I want to spend that much because I plan on getting a bumper after my lift.
