I think I need to order the 100mm halos ASAP.

My 110mm ones are atached with JB Weld steel stick. I wonder how hard they'd be to remove without damaging anything?

    Thanks.

I may bake them, but I don't think it's necessary. I'm gonna give em a few days to cure before I assemble them.

I don't plan on assembling the lights until Thursday or Friday as I'm waiting on a few parts to come in still. (New halos, new reflectors, and DTRL lenses)

I just pulled the trigger on a set of 100mm halos. I hope I can get the 110mm's off with out damaging them or the shroud.

Bright enough as in if I go switchback halos as my turn signals, will they still be visible at night with my headlights on so people can see my turn signal? And why the taillight? If I wire the white to a switch but the amber to my turn signals the amber will always come on with my turn signals right?

Yes you will be fine wiring the amber to the turn signals up front. The 2nd gens have to wire them to the rears.

Also, I got the halos off with no issue. Just used a little pick and small flat screw driver. I guess they werent prep'd too well. Lol.

I bought a spare set of lights for parts that had a good set of DTRL lenses.

I plan tinting a set and if I like the tinted ones, Im going to run them. Ill have a spare good set if youre interested in em.

    Next question...

Mounting the shrouds? Some say butyl. Some say silicon. Some say JB Weld. Some say clear epoxy. I haven't found a concrete answer though. Thoughts?

I used a combo of jb weld and clear epoxy. Butly would be good for helping hold it while the epoxy dries but I don't know if Id rely solely on butyl to hold them on due to heat. Any of the methods should work though jus make sure to test the strength before installing lenses haha

They should be close to bright enough. I'll try to snap a photo or a short video of it tonight if possible. Are you and Aaron both retrofitting?
