Did you turn off the oven? That's the only thing I can think that would cause it to melt that bad. Other than the not on cardboard or something

Only other thing I can think of is your oven temp is off. Mine is about 30 degrees higher than what I set it to. Had to buy a thermometer to read instead of the digital one

You're supposed to turn the oven off, then throw it in there

I left my oven on the whole time.

I'm going to have to open them back up this weekend and replace the halos, might try the turning off method this time

I didnt do it like ur saying.
I first letthe oven preheat at280 then tossed them in there with a plastic tray unde the headlight. I didnt turn off the oven. Waited 8 min and did turn off the oven then pull out the headlight. I did it like this a fews time cause i had to reopen my lights. And they are fine, didnt have an issue at all.

My guess is the damaged side was the side the was facing down toward the bottom of the oven. And it was a combination of setting it directly on the rack and not using a piece of cardboard or a cookie sheet, and an oven that got too hot.

The same shit everyone else has.
    LOL.

    Christ.

275*. Turn the oven off, then put the light in for about 10 minutes. Put it on a wooden cutting board. Check it half way through to make sure it doesnt turn into mush. Repeat as necessary

Dang man that sucks. Those halos are long gone lol. I would cut wires to those. Here is link to bulbs you need. Use code TRS10 to save you $5

High and low beams use the same bulb. The bulb is always the same intensity, the cutoff shield lowers to allow more light output for the high beams. Maybe it's the wired connection that is bad? If it's the solenoid for the high beam, you would probably have to take the headlight apart. Hopefully someone else with more troubleshooting experience can help.

If both low beams work then it's the solenoid on projector. Your bulb won't turn off on high but it wouldn't drop the cutoff to enable high beam

First check the high beam connection make sure it is clean and pins are locked in connectors. If that doesn't help then the solenoid is faulty on the projector
