    I'm still on the fence because I want to convert to the 01-04 front end and don't want to retro my '00 headlights then switch to 01-04. I might just buy them and put them in the closet till I figure it out.

    FYI guys, the 4300 and 5000 xb35 h1 bulbs are back ordered for what I'm told 2 or so months.
    One of the reps at the source told me there redesigning the bulb and doesn't expect inventory for 2 months. They have plenty of their standard H1's in stock, but if your wanting the premium bulb, your limited to blue or really blue bulbs:(
    I plan on letting my order sit until they get the new design in. I mean, I can only assume there redesigning it for even better performance.:eek:

    Zack from trs told me but I didn't find out until I questioned my shipped then back ordered status on my order.
    You can see that the bulbs with those heat levels aren't available in their store.
    Goto store/bulbs/h1-35xb then try the drop down for heat level.

    My original statement about the reason why they were back ordered came from TRS rep itself.

    What's really strange is that for some reason their not still purchasing (for sales purposes) there current revision until their new ones are released. I'm waiting for the next rev!

    Can always just get the morimoto bulbs; nobody has complained about them that I've seen. They are what I'll be getting, in 5000k. I've had 6000k looked decent with just a hint of blue. I just want whiter this time around.

    My old mustang with 35w 6000k plug and plays :anonymous:

    Some of the install threads from years back mention sticky solenoids. This was solved by a couple people taking apart the projector and filing burrs off of the metal part that went around the plunger.

    My question is if this is necessary to do anymore? Has the projector changed to reduce the possibility of this happening? I notice that its version 2 of the mini D2S, so was wondering about this before I do the install.

    Yes, pretty much all instances of sticking solenoids has been eliminated.

    You should always test the solenoids prior to sealing up the headlights for obvious reasons, but we haven't heard of a sticky shield/solenoid in months.
