You should see the discount in your cart, and then when putting your CC# in. I never saw the regular price again after entering the code. There must be something wrong with the site.

Man idk. I entered the code and hit apply. It discounted it. I went to shipping and added it. I went to PayPal page and selected that. Then it brought up the last page where I review my cart and it shows that I entered the coupon but it says $0 next to it and shows no discount in the final price. Hopefully Andrew emails me back or posts in here. I'm tryin to add to this damn list

Wonder if it has something to do with using Paypal? I used a CC, and that worked, it could be something to do with that...

They emailed me this morning. I figured out my problem but am waiting on a response to see about fixing it.

I want the quick system for my frs. From what's stated on their website, its a H1 system with mounting brackets built to bolt straight in where the halogen projector is now. So the only diff I see between the normal H1 kit is the mounting brackets and a lack of needing a shroud. Since its a H1 system, I figured the discount extended to it as well. So I asked: why the discount doesn't apply for that kit, if I could buy the H1 kit then purchase the brackets separate so as to still get the discount, and if not then will a H1 system fit in a frs headlight. I havent gotten anything back yet.

If all of those questions get replied by with a no then my next question will be ..... if I buy the quick kit at full price, can it be added towards the total on the TW gb? I don't know why all of those questions would be answered with a no but if they are then at least I tried. lol

I am no expert with HID.
But if i were you, i'd just get the entire kit from TRS, and just sell away the plug and play hid u already have right now.

The Mini D2s is only about $220 after discount....

    This \/

Unfortunately this group buy doesn't cover just projectors, only full kits (projectors, bulbs, and ballasts). The hids from TRS are going to be higher quality than your plug and play kit now so I think it would be worth it for you.

Also, I'm probably in on this one tonight.

Installing mine now. It took about 5 min for the housing to separate after pulling it out of the oven, with me going around it with a cheap screwdriver (yes, use one you will throw away). Then there is a good pry point at the bottom corner, closest to the grill. Get on there and just apply light pressure, and after a few seconds, the goo will start to release, and you can eventually get your fingers in there and pull the whole thing apart, releasing tabs as you go.

Already got the projectors installed, solenoids tested with a 9V battery, and shrouds epoxied in with JB Weld. Pretty much done for today I think.

Can the 9v battery power the HID light to turn on for aiming purposes?

But anyways how do u check the solenoid with a 9v?

Also how did u aim the horizontal

The 9V would not have enough juice to power the HID bulbs themselves. I just used it on the two wires with contacts coming from the solenoid to make sure they were working properly before I put the shrouds on.

Haven't aimed the horizontal yet. There is play in the locating ring (one that has the tabs on it, like a regular halogen bulb does) and the projector threads. So far, I just eyeballed them to line up with lines in the reflector. If they are off, all I would have to do is remove the connector, the gasket, and I should be able to grab the back of the threaded nut that holds the bulb in, and rotate it. Hopefully I won't have to.

Yeah, I thought I'd go drop in on my first retrofit. I think I've got that projector in there nice and tight, so hoping I don't have any movement.
