So I got these guys working, bad ground... anyway why is the light so slanted? they both seem to be at the same angle, its pretty annoying. My intuition tells me to turn the projectors clockwise a little bit, but when I was installing them the lock rings made this not really possible what do I do to get them level?

Your probably going to have to loosen the lock ring to turn them. They look good

if I'm thinking right, you would actually turn the projectors counter clockwise i think. (when you are looking straight at the projectors) but clockwise from this view. mine cutoff line is off by a hair. annoying, but not worth it to take them all part again.

Not sure on a first gen, but on mine, I was able to pull the rubber boot off, and with everything connected, reach in with my fingers, and rotate the entire assembly using the lock rings. From the pic, it looks like you need to rotate clockwise, when looking out towards the road, so luckily, that is tightening everything. I say do it with the connector on the bulb, because I got movement when I tried to put the connector on the bulb. Easier to just leave it connected.

awesome thanks guys, yeah clockwise from in the cab view counter when looking at the lights. I am so afraid to fuck these bulbs up but i guess ill loosen the locking nut and see if i can get some movement out of them.

x2 shouldn't have to pull them apart to fix that, need to aim them up and also rotate clockwise if your sitting in your truck looking across the hood

^ Brings up a good point. Before rotating, aim them up to where you need them. I found, at least with my Depo housings, that the rotational alignment changed slightly with vertical and horizontal adjustment. Hate to spend time on rotational, only to jack it up when doing vert/horz.

heres mine. my passenger side needs just a tad turn counter clockwise but not enough for me to open to reseal. No flashes from oncoming cars so ill leave it alone for now.

Like they said yours needs to be turned clockwise

im guessing you don't have the ballast ignition problem like a number of us from the last group buy?

What's the ballast ignition problem? It's happened twice but I turned the lights on and driver side didn't turn on, turned them off and it came on, not sure what that means

They got a bad batch of ballasts with weak ignitors, they're working on getting replacements for everyone at the moment. I received a lengthy email rxplaining the situation cause they sent me a replacement when one went bad and it happened to be a new one that was faulty. Usually turn the lights on and off will ignite both of them

that's exactly it. but it happens to me at least, all the time. headlights wont turn on the first try. I have to turn the switch on and off at least twice for it to stay on. that is the current ballast issue that TRS will be replacing mid December

Depends on when you ordered, they haven't received the fixed version of the new ballasts yet but they will send you replacements with the updated versions

I emailed, email or call them.

Tonight mine both decided not to fire at the same time instead of just one of them not firing. They both fired the next try but it's rather annoying.
