Hopefully 25% or more. Going through rei can get 20% off tepui once a year and use credit card and get an additional 5% off with free store delivery.. And if you have points can use that towards it also..just saying that is tempting but i do like the treeline products..wish i could see one in person

does this mean you're in?! Just kidding.

I understand the numbers and that REI does a coupon every year that can be used to purchase a tepui tent.. think about that for a second though why would REI put out a coupon for 20% off and 5% more using a credit card.. It's because they are a huge corporation with big buying power. Not knocking the other brands but I can probably assume stock is more available and production is faster.

I am choosing to do this group by with Treeline for their commitment to high quality materials, product control and innovation. They are teamed up with Goal Zero as well. I just feel strongly enough about this product after reading so many reviews on all the products. We all spend tons of money on mods and this and that for our trucks for the simple fact that we like our trucks and they are apart of our personas.

REI does 20% on one item every year for members if I recall correctly. It's not from Tepui. It comes out around the same time as the dividend return.

Has anyome else been running the numbers out there ... rtt's have a huge re-sale value if you're buying from a reputable manufacturer using premium quality materials backed with exceptional customer service and warranties . Just some quick math indicates we are future proofing our investment with this Treeline Outdoors gb

Wow, pretty exciting! I'm getting close to buying my first RTT for the fall season. The lightweight base and better material are attractive to me. Two issues for me in Texas are 1) A black cover is out - the heat and solar heat gain make anything black in the sun an gajillion degrees. 2) ropes secured to the ground isn't an option for me as I'm usually in rocky areas - the point of an RTT for me is to eliminate this difficulty.

Is a silver cover available? Is there an alternative to the canopy ropes?

You're bringing up very good points. With regards to the cover I don't have an answer which is why I will forward this inquiry to Luke. As far as the securing ropes. These are for super windy nights for extra anchoring supports rather than utilizing the ladder only.
    I'll get some feedback.

    Update...

    Good Morning Robert,

Black is the only option for the cover at this time and the vestibule with ropes is also the only option at this time. I have camped many times on rocky ground and two shooting bags anchor the ropes really well. As you pointed out the ropes are not a necessity unless the wind picks up.

I know the tent will not work perfect for everyone, but a vestibule/extended tent makes an annex work much better and ventilate. The ladder is inside the enclosure as apposed to outside for rainy days and the tent annex is open to the whole tent with its own skylight so the heat can dissipate.

    I hope that helps.

    Cheers,

    Luke
