Speaking of this, i just got a call from the freight company they are dropping off mine on Monday. They called to make sure someone would be home.

The shipping company didn't call me, and just showed up at the house. The driver called me while I was at work, so I asked him to wait while I rush home from the office. All worked out.

 

Since mine is a pickup should I call Truckvault? The vendor said they do installation which I was going to inquire about as well.

 

shoot the vendor an email to verify how you would know when to pick up

 

Yeah the company called me so idk guess it depends on area or company used to ship these! I think when the woman called me it was XPO freight.

I just glanced thru the instructions, and it doesn't look that hard. If you can use a power drill, then you can put this together. It's already 95% assembled.

If you dont want to drill holes in the truck bed to anchor it down, then you can just basically lift it in place and take pictures.

I was told $50 for install supposedly. Worth $50 to me. If it's more then I'll be installing myself in their parking lot haha.

Bam... I didn't bolt it down and didn't install the front cover side pieces. I need access to other items that I will put in those side pockets.

 

Im installing mine now! A little pissed off with one issue im having.


I dont want to remove the stock rails.


Question did they give you a flare tool to bolt it down i cant seem to find it any where in my stuff? Edit i used a random

I see you got the taller model. I don't think my standard height model can fit an ammo can vertically. It's only about 6" tall inside the drawers.

 

Yup i did and it was partly for that reason i wanted the taller one. It takes up all the bed space but thats ok i plan to getting a shell for it later.

 

Dang the magnum fits nicely in there. Still waiting on mine
