Okay, looks like Sept 17 was the first day the thread opened. So it looks like it was about two weeks before you got your UltraGauge. I’m only asking because some replies on this thread mentioned a tracking number.

Ordered mine on the 1st as well but it’s still in “processing” mode. Maybe they didn’t anticipate this many orders? You can log in again to see where they’re at with yours.

Got mine today - of course I forgot to order a mount.. or at least I thought I did but it wasn't in the invoice so I blame the shotty internet I had while oversea's. I'll have to make a mount for it or just velcro it to the dash.

This is the horizontal mount and I routed the wire behind the radio and gauge cluster. Works great and doesn’t impede my view in the slightest.

Use google, the search from TW's page is terrible. There are quite a few threads with info and mounting ideas.

Plug it in and see. Mine was preloaded for the 'Tacoma" and it immediately started working (reading Transmission temp.) as soon as I selected to be in the home screen.

I did the same, ordered a horizontal hoping for the best, should have got a vertical! Now to make a bracket for the visor.

I'm not finished setting up additional pages yet, then I'll hide the wire. After reading, and reading, and reading, and playing, I finally figured out this device's settings. This thing is cool, I like it.

I had to reprogram it for my 2012. Easy enough and all done.

When I plugged mine in it went into a scan mode. It’s been scanning now for 45 minuets. Does this sound right?

No. I'm sure you know the key has to be in the run position or running.

How was it messing with the head liner? I may put mine the same way. But i also didn't want to use sticky pad on the brow.

Does anyone have a pic of how they got the fat end that plugs into the obii port through the dash? I plan to run mine from the mirror, to the a-pillar, and then to the obii port.

I haven't looked closely, so it may fit easily. I was just a bit concerned with the fat end fitting.

Have my ultragauge on the left upper side of the radio and it’s perfect for me. I ran the cable behind the dash so it’s clean

No problem at all. Used a screw driver and lightly pried up to tuck the wire in. Total process from start to finish was maybe 10 minutes. Super easy. There’s an airbag behind the A pillar so make sure the wire isn’t wrapped around it. Tuck it behind it. You’ll easily see what I’m saying when you pop the oh shit handle off.

Who would be interested in a bracket to re-purpose the 3g GoPro mount for the UltraGuage?

If there's enough interest, I might design a bracket, similar to the Dashcam mounts for the 3g GoPro mount.

I got my Ultra-Gauge MX today, pretty psyched. I immediately programmed it for my 2017 to read Transmission Temps using the awesome documentation on the Ultra-Gauge website.

To set up the gauges, follow this path:
    MENU > Gauge/Page Menu ... > Select Gauge/Page > M Gauge Setup

    Transmission post Torque Converter Temperature:
    1-20181005_191750.jpg
    Transmission Pan Temperature:
    2-20181005_191809.jpg
End result added to positions 1 and 2 on Page 1:
    3-20181005_191718.jpg

Pretty cool little gadget to mess around with!
