Is there a reason to do the trans Pan temp vs the Trans temp ?

From my understanding(which is limited), the pan temp is the better one to have b/c the TC fluctuates so much. I only wanted the trans temps from the ultragauge, so I put both in. They stay the same unless the TC is engaged, which is expected.

Are you in Canada and want Celsius ? The number below from a previous post seem to be what everyone else is using .. maybe try the exact number from this post. And see if that changes it .. then work back to wanting Celsius ( if that’s what u are trying )

There are a couple YouTube’s on how to change settings .. . It’s not hard. Just using the menu , up and down buttons . Once u play with it you will be set .

For people that are watching this thread, I've started a new thread at the top level of 3G Tacomas to use for tips & tricks, and mutual support for our new Ultra-Gauges. It should be easier to find info there than buried in a Group Buy thread.

Interested too. I've got the old version with no trans temp. Thinking of towing sometime in the future and this would be a good time to upgrade the ulragauge too.

What the quality like with these units? I bought a Scanguage last week, but haven't hooked it up yet. The scanguage cost twice as much as the ultraguage?
    Has anyone run them both?

I have. I ran a SG for months, and switched to an UG and couldn't be happier. The UG has a larger display that's easier to read and more customizeable. The main reason I switched though was for the audible alarm. I set the maximum thresh hold at 220 degrees for my coolant temp and for it to alarm if it hit that. One day it did, and it saved me from over heating. Never wouldn't noticed otherwise.

I pinged Ultra Gauge about a group buy.
They will not be running a group buy.

"Due to the trade war, we do not have the long term stock to support group buys at this time.

    Best regards,
