Once we have a few others on the board I'll open-up a couple voting polls. I'm not sure what colors we should stick with; if people want me to continue to do them color-coordinated that's cool. I'm kind of impartial to "all black" with just colors on the breakout portions such as this (example is from an overhead illumination harness):

    9464AA54-3706-463F-9468-24CF2012B9D1.jpg

I'd also like to get feedback from people who already have (or are receiving) harnesses. I want to know if the wire length I used were sufficient or if they need to be lengthened (for between connectors and also the breakout portion), etc.... Let's get it right.

    Paid.

Honestly color doesn't matter to me personally. It's behind the dash anyway. The breakout wires should be color coded though, doesn't matter how as long as you say which is illumination vs ground.

I was going to ask for extended wires so I could run them under the steering wheel to the center console, I'm willing to cover the cost difference just let me know

Do we need both the positive and the negative wires if we already tied the negative cable of the switches somewhere else?

I tied them back to the ground in the engine bay. They are wrapped with the source and output wires.

Ah so doing it that way won't allow you to dim your switches. You can just cut the Negative out of your switches and run them to the variable (-) on the harness I'm building. Up to you -- personally I have never used the dimmer in my truck other than to test the function.

Hmm. I'll have to think about it. Not sure if the brightness disturbs me enough yet or not. I might be able to figure out another way to dim it, but highly unlikely since I'm super lazy.

Another question though. Since the brightness is based on variable negative, does that mean if we tie it into your harness, it should already be dimmer than hooking the switch up directly?

Also wondering if you have pictures of a CH4x4 switch next to an OEM switch to see the brightness difference.

Dang, still pretty bright compared to OEM switches.
If my understanding is correct, everything can be dimmer, but the CH4x4 will still be much brighter.

Yeah there's not much you can do about that unless you want to solder a resistor inside of your CH4x4 switches.

I have a 2017 TRD Off Road Access Cab. Will the cargo light T harness still work even though I don't have the cargo light? I see there are extra wire harnesses behind the left side panel but without a switch connected to identify them, I don't know what they are for.

I’m interested in buying one of your cargo light harnesses, but would like it configured to illuminate rock lights when the bed cargo light is on.

All of the cargo light harnesses are spoken for (already) and the lead time for yet another shipment is beyond reasonable to keep the group buy active. I am going to close this group buy to new orders and re-post a normal "for sale" thread for the ECT PWR / Auto High-Beam harness. Thanks everyone for your order!
