    seems like every time i go camping theres a fire ban in effect... so i would be more willing to buy a version with a tank-less hot water heater.

    Great question. This pump is capable of 4 feet of vertical suction lift. There is no rating for total draw distance, only vertical lift.

    would it be easy to make it so this plugs into the bed outlet in TRD models. I don't mind running a power cord across the bed when in use.

    Bed outlet is 120V AC, battery is 12V DC. So not as easy as putting a plug on the ends of the wires...

    The pump is only 12 volts so it wouldn't work with the bed outlet unfortunately
