    Hey all,

Looking to get a 2018 Cement DCSB TRD OR, but I was wondering if anyone has any regrets on NOT getting the premium package w/ leather/heated seats? Only reason why I don't want to is because the moonroof tends to make the ceiling a bit to short for me.

I live in Chicago and the winters can be brutal so I'm not sure if I'm missing out on not getting the heated seats.

You can add heated seats to it for around $300.00

I went from a car with leather heated seats to my taco without and cloth of course. No regrets, the leather was very cold and stayed that way until the heated seats started to work. I personally feel like the cloth isn't so bad and only feels cold for a bit.

I hate leather. Couldn't wait to get rid of it in my last car. No burning hot seat during the summer. Sweaty back on long cruises. No thanks. I got cloth and canvas seat covers. Love it. Mine has seat heaters, though.

We enjoyed the durability of leather against the destructive power of kids and car seats. I really wanted it in the Taco, but it was not offered on the config that I wanted most. I've adapted and am happy enough with it.

Although, there is a thread around here about wear on the outer bolster. Mine is starting to fray a bit. I'll fight to have it covered under warranty when it gets bad enough then maybe do Katskins down the road.

cloth plus seat heaters is the way to go!!

Only downside is that the cloth hangs on to dog hair like crazy

I have no issue with my cloth, I dont miss heated seats at all. What I really miss are the air conditioned seats I had in my F150, those things were the poo in the summer. I wish I could add them to the tach, If so it would be perfect.

I had no issues with the cloth with the exception of dog hair. I ended up adding Clazzio "Leather" seat covers. So much better with a dog that sheds a few lbs of hair a week even with regular brushing...

Took of my cloth off and went with Katzkin. Did a self install and saved a ton. If I remember right it was about 450-500 for the katzkins and 2 days of my time. I probably wouldn't do it again but it was worth the DIY savings over what the leather package would cost.

My cloth seats came heated and was easy to put the heat pads on the katzkins.

If the decision is leather+heated versus no heated, I'd get the heated regardless of seat type. Every time it's cold and you can't turn on the heated seats you'll say "I wish I had heated seats, damn my stupid long body!" If you already have heated seats in what you're driving now, you'll miss them in this truck. Heated seats is a nice feature... and I'd figure out a way to stay low under the moonroof to compensate.

Heated seats is a moot point. $150 gets you heated seats.

I have cloth in mine and love it. Our other cars are leather and they're hot in the summer and cold in the winter. I have the cloth with heated seats in my Taco. Perfect combo for me. Looks like it's not an option anymore? Mine's a 2017.

I generally don't like leather seats (there are a few exceptions), I like cloth... IMO, it holds up better and doesn't crack over time. That being said, I do like my cheapie seat covers to protect the cloth seats.

I like the cloth seats in mine. Added coverking neospureme covers to keep them clean and increase their life. I got leather seats in the NSX..... :)

Having grown up in Florida, cloth is the only seat fabric for me. Hopping into the driver seat in shorts in the summer with vinyl or leather is asking for a first or second degree burn.

I like the cloth seats with the heaters. Like many have said, they cling on to dog hair like no other. Maybe down the line I’ll get clazzios
