The guys at work have to replace and clean cats on the diesel pump engines they maintain. They soak them in a simple green solution overnight and then bake them in an oven to get them all dried out for next time.

 

Step one: Move to any state other than California.
Step two: Rejoice that you now live in a free state.
Step three: Reset the code and continue living your life, because no one cares about the CATs.

camelback Toyota is on TW . i had p0157 code so i replaced both sensors than the cat/manifold. local Toyota wanted 1257$ for the cat manifold, camelback sold me both sensors gaskets and manifold for 650$ also check the pins in the harness for damage, after replacing both sides my problem was one of the pins

 

That happened to me once on the passenger side. The gasket between the cats sprung a leak.
