Okay so I recently put icon shocks and Dakar leaf in rear. Also put new u joints and center bearing in... Didn't check my slip joint tho. After a few days I got a clunk when I drive over bumps slow making the rear suspension go from side to side. I checked all the bolts and torqued them all and still have the clunk. Greased all u joints.. And while I was doing that I shook the drive shaft and I have a clunk/binding in the back part of the drive shaft between the slip yoke/joint and the rear u joint..? Should there be play/clunk? Is the shaft done? Should I take the yoke apart and grease it?

I checked for loose body parts.. Fixed them all.. And I am waiting for new bolts for bed, going to fix the loose bed with washers and rubber washers. Bed is not the problem..

Any other ideas why I would have this clunk? I have read all other post and gone through almost everything.. I dont think it's coming from the front... All new control arm bushings and ball joints and I checked all bolts with torque. Also can feel it in the floor. I have no other ideas what it could be.

Curious if you ever solved this. My 12 makes the same knocking going over bumps. I've been under the truck checking every bolt and nut, jumping in the bed, went through every storage box and seat back in the truck a d can't find the source.

I did solve it.. It was ether the u bolts or the leaf bushings.. I changed the bushings out.. Have u done any work on the rear suspension? Get the rear leaf recall?
