clunk/knocking on take off, stop, shutdown?????

Any help would be much appreciated. I bought a 99 Tacoma v6 manual 4x4 & every now & then not all the time. When I get going in first I hear a knock/clunk that hapens 2 or three clunks then nothing when driving and it dose not have any feeling just knocks sound comes from front of my truck it sounds like right side. It also happens when I ccome to a stop, a couple knocking sounds and it even happens when I shut off my truck so I pull in garage turn off key and rite after I turn of knock,knock sound. What is this coming from please help if u have a good answer.
