    Good AFternoon All,

First post here, i have a 2014 tacoma TRD 4x4 with the 4.0 v6. I have been chasing a loud clunking noise for months now and i have no idea what it is. I thought it was the drive shaft, i removed it and had all the joints replaced and the carrier replaced, reinstalled noise still present. I took the shaft out again to have it re checked and all check out fine. I took it to a rear end shop to rule out the ring and pinion all checked out fine. I pulled the leafs had them reworked with all new hardware, bolts and pads, a 60mm add a leaf was done as well. I installed new shocks in the rear while i was at it and re built the drum brakes. The clunking happens generally on stopping then accelerating, i can rock the vehicle back and forth while its in park and it clunks like mad, it's not a normal ring and pinion gear mesh noise. I am unsure where to go from here i will be installing new front shocks her in the next week or so but outside of that i don't know what else to try. Any advice/guidance would be great.

I tried greasing the slip yolk, I didn’t use that blue grease though it was Lucas red and tacky…
