Hey everyone! Im new here on tacoma world. I have a 06 taco double cab trd 4x4 with 3" lift. Absolutely love it. Had it for almost 4 years and its been perfect.
I had my rear drums turned a couple days ago and installed new shoes at the same time. It stops fine but when i accelerate after a complete stop there is a pretty bad clunk. Its only a quick clunk and its smooth till i accelerate from a stop again. Under braking its quiet. Only under gas does it clunk. My springs, shocks, engine and tranny mounts, u joints, cv shafts,...they are is great shape. Never a sound till the brake job.
Has anyone had a similar problem after turning drums or installing new shoes?
