Hey Dave - you don't have that TSB number by chance, or a part number or description for the grease, do you?
    Thanks

Mine weren't even blue and yellow lol. Regular black SR5 shocks.

Anyways, since this thread has come alive, I still have the clunk. Hasn't hurt anything. Bleh. I give up.

had a clunk from the rear passenger so i ordered some new shocks. just switched the stock bllsteins today out for 5100's and i'm completely impressed by the improvement in ride. the clunk went with the old shocks too

Damn. I have the same issue with the clunk or rattle when going over bumps, and the clunk when you first hit the brake. Noticed it right after I bought the truck. Really bad when going over washboards. Thought it was something loose on my bull bar or skidplate. Had Toyota look at it several times. They have never found it. Last time I took it in, I have a D-ring attached to the front tow point, and told them that the rattle preceeded me adding this. When I picked it up, they of cource blamed the d-ring :smh:

Yes I am, lol. I'm about 99% sure it has something to do with the brakes. When my pads get worn, the clunk gets worse. Owell. I've lived with it so far.
