    Check your swaybar for contact on the coils. I have a relocation kit and still have it occasionally due to worn sway bar bushings. Check those.

    i've seen one thread which the owner mounted a camera in the engine compartment to see where the banging noise was coming from and he located...maybe need to mount one under the front end for a day or 2

    Had the same symptoms. Decided to check all the torque specs on suspension. Found shock towers were not torqued to spec. So far seems to have fixed the problem!!

    2016 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 Double-cab
    Mine used to make a Pop / Clunk sound, which sounded like it was coming from the front Passenger suspension. It would only happen like once a week, then eventually increased to once per drive. It was like that for months, then out of the blue, it went away on it's own. It's been gone close to a year now. But recently started doing it again about once every couple days. I'm sure it's fine... lol
