I’ve been having some issues with a clunking/rattling sound coming from the front driver side when driving on rough roads. I’ve checked the torque on the LCA, LBJ, coilover, and UCA and nothing was loose. Hopefully I’ll get a video of it next time I’m on some rough roads.

Has anybody else had something like this and did you figure out what was causing it?

I'm getting this too, hear/feel it most when either turning or going over bumps at low speed.

Edit: have not found the cause, driving me nuts.

I just had a right front body mount replaced under warranty that sounded like suspension noise. I would hear a creaking/clunking noise over rough roads.

I thought my struts were binding making the metallic noise. I replaced the oem struts with Bilstein 5100s at stock height. Afterwards, the noise totally disappeared for about 6 months. Because the noise temporarily disappeared after the strut replacement, I'm thinking the rubber pads at the top of the spring where it meets the strut tower is bad. Maybe wearing thin?

Extremely frustrating trying to hunt down the source of the noise.

Hmm, didn’t check those out I’ll do that next. Only checked the cab mount.
No, mine sounds more like if you had something bouncing around in your glove box.
No, my aftermarket coilovers don’t have any rubber pads. But I did make sure the three nuts that keep them in the coil bucket are tight.

I was able to duplicate it by pushing on body and rocking truck side to side, shop foreman at local dealer was able to pin point it fairly quick once he heard it

I forgot to mention both of my radiator or frame horn bushings were replaced. No luck, the noise lives on.

I've considered lifting it to see if that fixes it.
I tried taking the sway bar off and it seemed to get way more prominent. So i put it back on

yeah, I have the same noise, did the same 5100s soon after purchase and same disappearance for a while, and same results when taking the sway bar off.

I feel like some kind of wear should be visible based on the noise, but I can’t find shit that looks or feels out of place

That's what I've always thought too but just can't find anything. I'm sort of just waiting it out now I mean eventually wear will be visible or something will fall apart right? Lol

Have you checked your CV axle play into the differential? Mine rattles a bit because I haven’t changed out the needle bearing on my driver side diff. It hasn’t taken out the seal and is not leaking yet, so I’m living with it. May be worth a look?

    Work in progress...
Make sure the top bolt of the shock doesn't have any slack in it?

I had a noise similar to the one heard in the video posted above. Truck had less than 2000 miles at the time I noticed the sound.
I was only able to hear it when turning into my driveway with some speed and going over a speed bump. I ended up taking the truck to the dealer. It took several days and 3 different trips to them to get it all figured out.
One of the front shocks was replaced during one of the visits, picked up the truck and was told it was all good now, shock was binding according to them. I did not notice any binding before. I drove the truck home, it drove the same (no issues), but when driving onto my driveway I heard the same sound. Took it back a couple times. Long story short, "Truck Cab Bracket" was loose causing it to make a metal to metal sound when going over a bump and moving the loose mount. I have not heard anything similar since.

    Hope this helps.
