So has anyone had the problem of it clunking or popping when you back up and turn the wheel? Like something is getting in a bind and breaking free. Started happening a few years ago after I put 3.5 lift struts from rough country JBA upper control arms TRQ lowers and an alignment. Been this way for years now since I have put different cv (about to buy cvj remans) and wheel bearings in it and it’s still doing it. Also I do have a 1”diff drop kit install thinking the angle of the cv was the problem. Any help would be appreciated thanks!

Sounds like it could ne the CVs binding.Does it mostly do it on sharp turns, like turns where the steering wheel is maxed out?

Almost maxed but it also does it if I slow turn and turn going forward along with if I brake a little to hard. I have no idea what brand of cv I have rn and the boot ripped yesterday that’s why I was going to buy CVJ axles. But I was thinking the sound could be the LCA bolts or bushings.(the shop I went to has swapped these axles out at least 4 times and it’s the same sound everytime)

Are you sure that’s not just the brake slap. Mine does it all the time when applying.
As to your original problem did you replace the needle bearings that everyone talks about with a lift. I’m stock so I still have mine

I have not replaced the needle bearing I don’t believe. And are you talking about the brake stop that’s on the caliper? If so it does it before I even make it that far.

I would say it’s the brake of it was only doing it when I was braking but it’s more then just hitting the brakes.
