clunking noise

Did these parts eliminate the axle clunking noise?

 

No actually I added the leaf spring helpers which stopped the wrapping of springs, added new center carrier bearing and replaced the transmission support. All the above has no effect on clunking. almost has like a ringing to it after initial sound.

 

The clunk is from the drive line and the axle wrap from live leaf suspensions may add or detract to it, but the root cause is the drive line. This also happens in coil sprung suspensions.
