Clunking sound when I make sharp turns

UPDATE: I just drove around the yard at my work and had my coworkers listen and we can all agree that the sound is coming (from what we can tell anyway) from the passenger side. The sound is more like a metal rubbing or something moving that's not supposed to. Definitely not a clunking sound. Walked next to the truck while my coworker drove it in a circle and I didn't see anything moving or hitting. But obviously something is doing something its not supposed to...

I've got 5100's with Eibach coils, JBA UCA's and sway bar relocation brackets. Installed the UCA's last Thursday and put the 5100's on the 2nd notch. Now when I make sharp turns I hear a clunking/metal sound. I turned the wheels all the way to the left and right and looked underneath and couldn't see anything hitting or that would cause that sound. Anyone have ideas?

The truck never made any noises before last week. I put the 5100's on the 2nd notch last Thursday but didn't actually drive the truck until Saturday. Before that they were on the first notch with no issues. Would that have something to do with it? I drove around on Sunday some but didn't actually hear the sound till Monday. Since then I've heard every time.

    Thanks guys.

Coilover might be hitting the sway bar. Im currently experiencing this as well. I placed an order for the sway bar relocation kit, hoping it resolves the clunk.

Its not the coil. I have those brackets already. The bar isn't even close enough to touch the coil.

When you say make sharp turns, are you referring to moving(driving) or when stationary? Or both?

When driving. If the truck is stationary and I turn the wheel it doesn't make the sound. But even when driving, it doesn't make the sound every time.

Can I tighten the LCA bolts without throwing off the alignment? That's if that is the cause of the sound.

Mine would pop/ping with little articulation, like pulling into driveway. Turned out being cross member at the rear trans mount. 4 bolts,(14 mm I think) they were tight but I snugged them up more. No more popping. Worth a shot takes 5 mins

Yes. Just mark the cams with a sharpie or something, and keep marks lined up

You can hold cams with one wrench, and tighten with another

    I'll check those next.

I got under the truck and started checking bolts. Everything was tight, no play anywhere. I only have a few tools at work so I couldn't check everything so I'll finish up at home later.

Can't really think of anything else.

You're going to need to lift up your suspension off the ground and take a closer look I had same issue on my car for a couple years. Clunking noise on my turns. I was too lazy to get. Closer look at it it wasn't until I lived my car up I saw that my lower ball joint didn't have any grease and the boot was torn. My ball joint was dry and the lack of grease deteriorated. I had to replace the lower ball joint

I had a similar issue with my truck. After two dealer visits, they concluded the front right suspencion noise was "loose running boards" and charged me $60.

I took a look myself and it was LCA bolts I think.
