    Hello,
Do anybody know if switching gauge from 2" to 4" would work for SR model?

Theoretically you should be able to just switch it out no problem. A lot of features are modular.

In practice? No idea. Want to be the guinea pig?;)

Haha... I might, as soon as wrecking shops get some in stock. I don't really want to buy anew from dealer just to try out:)

isnt the steering wheel different, Wont you need one with the controls on it? Was thinking about a scan gauge as a simpler solution. Wouldn't mind the other cluster though.

That's probably what I'm going to do. When I spoke to parts "specialist" he said it would cost me around 6K to re-do it. He added trade in before it's too late:)

You would think they wiring harnesses would be the same, I mean why make a run completely different harnesses for four different model trucks, now 5 since the TRD Pro is coming out.

But I believe it's been confirmed the SR models aren't wired for dogs, correct?

It would be great if come one could swap the gauge cluster and wheel controls and make it work.

I come from the old Honda-Tech days where everyone was swapping CRX clusters and Civix Clusters with gauge clusters that had tachometers. All worked as long as it wasn't a MT vs AT cluster and such.

Now question is are the wires there in the clock spring under the air bag? Have you ever removed an airbag before? It's not hard just follow the correct precautions and you could tell if there was a plug undear there where the right side controls would be.

I'm going to watch this as hopefully in a few months I'll be in an SR and would like to see how this turns out.
