Cluster help

    So it started a couple months ago. Everytime i turn the truck on the cluster needles seem the fall and shake from where they were when i last drove it and then go back to normal. Anybody know what might be happening. Cant seem to figure it out.

    A cold solder joint on a common ground would be my first guess

    when cold there is enough gap that the needles don't have a complete electoral path to ground
    after the cluster has warmed up from the other electronics the gap closes and the needles work

    but as I said that's my guess

    Even after everything warms up. They still drop. But i will check grounds.

    Also it doesnt register the the key is in the ignition until its in accesory i get no key chime.
