I was wondering if I should pay it or should it be covered under warranty

Do you have extended warranty? I would think it is part of the drivetrain.

    Basic warranty is 36/36

    Drivetrain is 60/60.

What you have to find out is if the hydraulics are considered part of the driveline (transmission) or if they are considered either ancillary or a wear item.

Call another dealer (or even the same dealer) and just ask if the hydraulics are covered under driveline warranty. If you get a yes from the one who just rejected you, be sure to get a full name and title, so when you go back they can fight it out among themselves.

If you get a no, ask them to show you the exclusion in writing.

    Extended warranty then.

I don't know who 'he' is but I'd get the verification in writing. Then make an appointment for the repair.

Hoping the 'he' wasn't your salesman trying to get you off the phone happy.......... and not take future calls.
