I can't let the wife know
I have a 2006 v6 tacoma. I have this switch above the pedal assembly but cant find info about it on my Hayens book. I am trying to adjust pedal height but not sure how to adjust this switch. Seems its keeping the pedal from going up more.

You are correct this switch controls the pedal height/master cylinder displacement. The switch function works from wherever you have it adjusted, it will cancel the cruise as soon as the pedal travels away from the switch. In other words adjust it as a stop and it will work regardless of where you set it.

This may sound rude, but if you don’t know what you’re doing, you shouldn’t be trying to adjust the pedal height. The pushrod length and the pedal stop go hand in hand to make the clutch work correctly.
