I’ve got a 1999 4Runner 3.4l 5 speed, I was driving and went to shift and noticed my clutch pedal felt soft and didn’t come back up, I’ve had this problem on a different vehicle so I checked the slave cylinder for leaks and had none, but I had lost the forward most bolt for the slave cylinder but still had one, I tightened the one and got home and got a new bolt in, after that I found that if I left the clutch pressed in it would loose pressure and not come up unless I pulled it up, then I could shift if I pressed it and let go fast, if I held it for any amount of time it lost pressure, I replaced both the master and slave cylinder and have bleed the hell out of them and I still don’t have the same clutch pressure as before and can’t get it into gear, from what I can tell the slave is extending all the way and my adjustment at the pedal is fully adjusted out, I’m lost and need help.

Also today I tried pushing the slave cylinder inward and opening the bleeding, closing and releasing it, that’s when it started extending all the way and I have better pressure but still won’t engage
