    On a 2004 Tacoma 5 speed 2.7 does the clutch cancel but light turn on when you turn your lights on or does it just turn on when you press it

    in the manual it says its suppost to stay lite up, not just light up when you press it. checked power at the 7.5 STA fuse and nothing, any help would be great

    Mine is an 09. But I use it most cold mornings. Once pressed, it stays lit till the truck is turned off. But then again, I leave my headlights on all the time.

    it should only be on if you press it and stay on until your truck is turned off.

    really i thought before having these problems that light was always on when the truck was started

    My 2001 and my 2009, light comes on when the button is pressed stays on until the truck is shut off.

    i want to say that it should only be on if you press it, either my truck is broke or yours is lol.

    just worried that one day my truck wont start, probably just my mind but i did blow the J/B 50 Amp fuse and know weird things have been happening or just brought to my attension, should i hook my fog light 12v feed directly to my battery or is the open 30 amp (for power windows\ doors which my truck dont have) spot under the consel a good place to get power from

    my light doesnt work. can i replace the bulb in it?

    Yes, there are two replacable bulbs in the side of the switch -one for backlighting, one for the indicator. You might have to do some digging to locate a bulb though. They are the same style as the HVAC control backlight bulbs.
