    When I was at the dealership courting my Taco I asked the sales guy about the benefits of the clutch start cancel and he really didn't have an answer other than "well, its kind of nice for when you're parked on a hill." Tagging off his response I asked him if it had some sort of hill start assist to prevent rollback and he said he didn't know...Then again I experienced what seems to be an increasingly popular question at the dealership of "Do you really want a manual?"

    Yes. Yes I do.

    For the record I leave mine in reverse when parked.
