There have been multiple threads on this topic of chirping clutch for 6 speed manual transmission. Thought I would start a new thread since all of the other ones are older. One member wrote about adjusting the clutch pedal. I found what looks like an adjustment bolt attached to the clutch pedal and turned it one full turn to the left. The noise decreased by 90%! There is a faint sound occasionally now. Two mechanics told me this clutch had no adjustment and what that guy wrote was hogwash...well it worked for me. Give it a try if you are dealing with the noise. Also, if the transmission is shifting just fine and you aren't having any slipping, roll with it. Don't spend the money on a new clutch. The dealer and several mechanics told me I needed a new clutch...One guy in a 2018 thread said he has been driving 112000 miles with a chirping clutch with no issues. Apparently, it does not affect the functionality. Hope this helps someone save a few bucks.
