Hey all. New to Tacomaworld so I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong place.
My clutch pedal has a "dead zone" in the last 2in of travel. It springs fully out, but I can lightly push it in an inch or two with my finger before it engages and gets resistance. Should I just look for a new OEM return spring? Are there options to make the engagement/return more linear?
I recently picked up a clean '95 2.4L with 120k on it. Seems like it was taken great care of and stuff was serviced on time. I'm planning on doing all fluids, plugs, new brakes, LBJ's, undercoating and some paint correction. What else should I plan on doing ASAP? I'm going for a full "restomod" just cleaning it up and making it look and drive like new. No towing, no trailing, no beating on it. Thanks in advance... Hope everyone has a good weekend.

My clutch has the same deadzone, never thought of it as an issue

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Your clutch free play sounds just fine!!

If you don`t like you can adjust the rod out far as possible The pedal still needs depressed just as far.

it only changes the free play on the pedal not really helping.
