I have a 2011 4x4 regular cab 4 cyl with a new clutch installed due to the cheap Luk clutch slipping . The new clutch works fine except for a metal donk sound when clutch is let out with engine running in neutral or when driving although it is not easy to hear when driving . Sounds like the release arm bottoming out against a metal something.I do not know if a stop adjustment is out or what. Any ideas?

sounds like what my old '07 6speed would do when cold out. The hydraulic fluid would thicken to where I could let it out real quick and it would return slower than my foot and hit the return stop, making that noise.

Thanks, I can hear the sound coming from under the truck .Sounds like inside the bell housing. I don't recall hearing it before the clutch was replaced,oh well as long as it works.
