After getting new extended brake lines put on and a flush and fill of Motul dot 5.1 my clutch doesn't feel right.
The first two or three inches of travel kinda just suck inward with 0 resistance then it firms up and the last few inches are engaging the clutch.
Is it possible that having the brakes done could have cause this?
I was under the impresssion they were two different systems.
The mechanic specifically mentioned he didn't bleed the cluch because he didn't want to "open a can of worms".

    Thanks in advance.

It sounds like it got air in it, the clutch shares the same reservoir as the brakes on the trucks without the hydraulic brake booster so it's possible they got air in it when they did the brake fluid.

Best way to bleed clutch I have found is:

    Open bleeder
Push clutch pedal down and hold
    Close bleeder
    Repeat a few times

Then you can pump and hold, open bleeder a few times.

Thanks for the fast replies guys.
Do yall think I'll need to add fluid afterwards or will the amount be negligible?
If memory serves correct to add fluid I have to remove the shift boot and center console to get under the shifter.

Definitely keep an eye on the fluid level the whole time.

Stupid question but you're speaking about the brake fluid reservoir right. I didn't notice a separate one for the clutch.

I had a hard time bleeding my clutch too. What worked for me was to put a piece of clear tubing tightly on the bleeder nipple, the other end in a container of brake fluid. Then pump the pedal, you'll see bubbles come out pushing the pedal down, pedal up the bubbles draw back up slightly towards the nipple, repeat until no bubbles are coming out. Then bleed like you normally would, the 2 man method.

If you had a separate reservoir for the clutch fluid it would be pretty close to the brake fluid reservoir right along the driver side edge of the engine bay... I didn't realize that these trucks could be setup to have a shared brake/clutch fluid reservoir like this but it is apparently so. (Learned something new!) To answer your earlier question you definitely don't need to access the shifter area... it will all be done in the engine bay at the reservoir.

Im pretty sure there is a bleeder on the release cylinder ON the transmission.
@Dm93 probably knows exactly where it is.

Yeah you're right, the slave cylinder has the bleeder and its mounted to the left side of the trans IIRC. I think I misinterpreted the guy earlier, I thought he was talking about removing the shifter boot and getting in there haha.

Your mechanic is a willey one. Perhaps lazy is better.
As folks are saying, reservoir is shared brakes/clutch. Just off the slave-cylinder, headed towards the rear, is a nipple for bleeding. The clutch moves a lot of fluid, so don't go overboard and run dry.
Use a 3/8'' hose into a collection jug, pour some fluid into your jug for suction - and no air backfeed - place the hose onto the nipple, it'll be snug, and crack the nipple carefully till fluid begins to flow. Pump a couple times, to the floor and back, check rez, repeat till the firmness returns.
