Ladies and Gentleman, I have a problem and need some help/advice. Tonight, I dove into replacing my master clutch cylinder and slave cylinder due to the master leaking. Figured I get a head start on the morning and pull everything off and replace it in the morning. Well I got both cylinders off without too many problems, but I have gotten myself into what I am thinking is a big problem.

Once the slave cylinder was off the gear box (R155F) I figured I would remove the rubber boot off of the clutch fork and try greasing the fork support. It has been squeaking since I bought the truck earlier this year. I was in there applying some grease and noticed a spring (clip) just floating around in there. It didn't seem to be clipped into anything or serving much of any purpose in the position it was in, so I easily wiggled it out. I instantly new this little effer was important...checked my repair manual and found it to be the release bearing hub clip (throughout bearing clip). Instantly I knew I was fucked. It is currently 29 degrees out, only getting colder and I am finding myself stewing over the fuck up I may have caused.

So, does anyone know of any way to get this clip back into the tiny little hole on the side of the bell housing and clipped onto the throughout bearing/fork without dropping the transmission. If, by some miracle this is possible, I would forever be in debt to you. I sort of wagered it up at this point to be impossible, but I thought I would summon more minds. Please share your advice!
